Case Studies

The UNICEF Community Case Studies are in-depth explorations of how UNICEF staff are leveraging an online social platform, Yammer, to interact with colleagues around the globe.

Together, they learn, exchange news and ideas, and share useful documents. The case studies reflect section, regional and headquarters strategies for knowledge management and field support that illustrate the integration of dialogue, information sharing and collaboration.

They have been commissioned by the Learning and Knowledge Exchange Unit, Division of Data, Research and Policy, to call attention to the value that a community-focused strategy brings to UNICEF’s work, to provide examples of best practices, and to highlight the opportunities and challenges of stimulating global conversations. Communities are in a constant state of evolution. These case studies reflect a point in time, in mid-2017.
